Hello lovelies!

This is day ten of Blogmas! You can read day nine here!

Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys... This book series is AMAZING! I loved it! I have had so many book recommendations lately, and I have loved almost every single one. This is the first full series that I listened to as an audiobook. I am really addicted to this whole audiobook thing! I don't know why I didn't give it a chance before!

I can proudly say that I have read every book by Keira Cass, and another book review of hers is coming soon! This book series has 5 main books:

1 - The Selection

2 - The Elite

3 - The One

4 - The Heir

5 - The Crown

There are also mini stories that go along wth the main books:

The Prince: This is part of Prince Maxon's side of the story.

The Guard: This is part of Aspen's side of the story.

The Queen: This is part of Queen Amberly's story.

The Favorite: This is part of Marlee's story.

Happily Ever After: This is part of what happens after The One but before The Heir.

The first three books: The Selection, The Elite, and The One, are about America Singer. The world it's set in is post apocalyptic America, which is now called Illéa. Illéa is divided into a caste system. Each caste has a role whether it is an artist, a farmer, or a factory worker. One is the highest caste and contains royalty, and Eight is the lowest caste which contains jobless and homeless. It is very hard to change your caste. Prince Maxon has to choose a bride, so they do it like the Bachelor: 35 girls compete to win the princes heart. Among those 35 girls is America Singer who is caste Five (artist), and who does not particularly want to be there.

The last two books: The Heir and The Crown, is about Prince Maxon's daughter Eadlyn. Eadlyn is extremely independent and she wants to rule the country on her own. Trying to appease a warring country, Eadlyn is forced decides to have her own selection: 35 boys competing for the princess's heart.

I really enjoyed this book series! I love the author's style of writing. There were some twists and turns that are unexpected, and it is just a great love story! It's also interesting to hear about the post apocalyptic world they are in. Keira Cass seriously does amazing love stories! I would recommend this series to anyone who loves a great love story with princes and princesses.

Have you read this series? What are some of your favorite books?
